Almost half of women would stop their boyfriends or husbands from buying a games console if they had the choice.
Research conducted by ps3pricecompare.co.uk found that 48 per cent would ban their partner from having a console, despite one in three claiming they wanted one themselves.
The top reasons for not wanting a console include jealousy, cost, loss of quality time and having their living rooms taken over.
Almost a quarter of women questioned thought that a games console had a negative impact on their sex life.
The survey did find, however, that six per cent of women thought the consoles brought them and their partners closer together.

Not surprising really, along with the many spatial issues including driving, reversing and parking, plus the fact that other than shoes or shopping, its no wonder women are confused but any electronic equipment and want it to not exist as they are incapable of understanding it.
