Breast Cancer Awareness month on Ask Jeeves

The search engine's butler has been re-designed to support Breast Cancer Care's month-long Awareness campaign.

Breast Cancer Awareness month on Ask Jeeves

Jeeves the butler, the face of search engine Ask Jeeves, will be donning different outfits for the whole of October to help raise awareness of Breast Cancer Care

Breast Cancer Awareness month kicked off Thursday and apart from giving Jeeves a Breast Cancer Care badge and dressing him in pink suits, tutus and ties, the site is also giving visitors the chance to show their support with themed homepage skins, toolbars and quizzes.

He will also be active on Facebook and Twitter talking about the campaign.

The website features a Breast Cancer Care tribute page where users can place messages for themselves or loved ones.

The initiative is free to use and each person who takes part in the campaign will generate a contribution from Ask Jeeves to the breast cancer charity.

Sarah Bartlett, marketing director of Ask Jeeves, said: "We're thrilled to be able to play a part in supporting this brilliant and important charity - and give our users the chance to show their support too."

James Fletcher of Breast Cancer Care said: "Ask Jeeves has created an easy, engaging, and cost-free way for customers to get involved with Breast Cancer Awareness Month."
