Noel Edmonds launches iPhone app

Apparently it's only a short leap from Crinkley Bottom to the screen of the status symbol du jour, the iPhone.

Noel Edmonds launches iPhone app

Yes, you read that headline right. Noel Edmonds, staple of Saturday evening television schedules for much of the Eighties and Nineties, has launched an iPhone app.

Memories of Noel's House Party and more vivid recollections of the ongoing Deal Or No Deal would suggest that Mr Edmonds is an amiable, pocket-sized fellow, acceptable to audiences of all ages.

However, if you ever saw the short-lived Noel's HQ on Sky One, you'll also know that Edmonds has another side, more like an American TV preacher. And just to add to this barminess, he's also a big believer in something called Cosmic Ordering.

Never heard of it? Well, that may be because he made it up himself but if that fact isn't enough to put you off you can now install the Cosmic Ordering app on your iPhone and find out all about it.

Cosmic Ordering is largely about positive thinking - not a bad thing, really, but at £1.20 a pop you do have to wonder if the person who'll benefit the most from the app is Edmonds himself.
