A party organised on Facebook resulted in five arrests after more than 100 people gatecrashed the event and a fracas broke out. Police in Hampshire deployed a helicopter and dog unit to deal with scuffles that erupted near the house of Seve Nurueva, the 15-year-old who organised the party in Farnborough over the weekend. Nurueva along with her friend Jordan Wright advertised the party on the social-networking website. The five teenagers arrested are all between the ages of 17 and 19. The teenager has since apologised for the ensuing riot, telling the BBC "we are really sorry for all the damage we caused". Facebook is regularly used to organise parties, but sometimes with dire consequences. Last year, a group calling themselves the Facebook Republican Army gatecrashed a house party in Devon which also resulted in police being called.
