New-look 192.com launched

The 192.com website has been relaunched, offering better people-finding facilities and an improved local search experience.

The online directory has also made it clearer which information you can access for free and which you are required to pay for.

"The new 192.com is a much more powerful search tool that gives UK users access to a richness of data not available on any other website," said Dominic Blackburn of 192.com.

The new site was supposed to launch early in June but technical issues set the unveiling back by several weeks.

A 192.com spokeswoman blamed several "last-minute bugs" for the delays in launching the new site.
