The Ashes began on Wednesday in Cardiff and you can follow all the action live on the web.

To see live coverage online, you'll need to sign up to the Sky Player service.

You don't need to be an existing Sky customer but you will need to sign up for a monthly subscription, from £34 per month.

Alternatively, you can keep abreast of all the action with live text and audio commentary from the BBC Sport website.

The BBC also has archive video of previous Ashes series on its website featuring highlights from past clashes between England and Australia.

BBC Test Match Special commentator Jonathan Agnew is also occasionally 'tweeting' on micro-blogging website Twitter. He can be followed on http://twitter.com/Aggerscricket.

England will be looking to regain the Ashes after a disastrous tour of Australia when they were whitewashed 5-0.

Australia have several Ashes debutants in their team and are now missing stars such as Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath, with Brett Lee out injured.
