Robbie Maddison, a motorcycle stunt rider, jumped across Tower Bridge on Sunday night and you can watch the video online.
The Australian used the famous London landmark as a take-off and landing ramp as he cleared the gap above the Thames after the bridge had been raised.
With an approach speed of approximately 40mph, Maddison took off from the north side of the bridge, performed a no-handed backflip and landed in front of the south tower.

Maddison also holds the record for the longest jump on a motorcycle at over 106 metres.

That was an insanely long jump.
When I was 6 I remember lying down at the end of a very long line of people to be jumped over by a motorbike.
Not sure if that would be allowed now..
Loving the Beta site by the way!

If I'd have known that was happening I would have got up at 2am and cycled down to watch. Gutted I missed it. Not likely to see anything like that again ion the near future.

looks good but not the first one to do it as Jaguar was the first and a ford capri did it in the film Branigan with John Wayne. I know I was working on it the engineers didn't like it because of the impact on landing
