Cybersquatter turns pink

A woman obsessed by pink has set up a website to raise cash to pay for her car to be painted in a glittery shade of her favourite colour. Karen Bridges, of Canford Heath in Dorset, is desperate for £1000 - the quote she received to respray her silver Subaru Impreza the desired hue. So far online donations have topped £300 and the website has only been going for nine days. Karen, who claims she earns "measly wages" in an insurance company, says she knows she may come across as cheeky but decided to plead for online help because "if you don't ask, you don't get". But just to show her heart is in the right place, she's pledging to give a percentage of the donations to a breast cancer charity. Think pink!
