AOL UK has launched an all-in-one communications product for its members that combines email, instant messaging and an address book.
The AOL Communicator, which is free of charge, is aimed at broadband users that want advanced email features.
According to AOL, members can read and send email messages from all of their AOL screen names as well as standards-based email accounts, such as POP3 and IMAP, from a single page.
Users can mark and report email as spam, set up custom filters to drop emails automatically into designated folders and view individual email messages in a three-pane window.
Graham Anderson, technical director at AOL UK, said: "AOL Communicator also works seamlessly with other communication products so if you log into AOL Mail on the web you can see all the sent and received mail you may have dealt with in Communicator, for example."
AOL members can download AOL Communicator for Windows from AOL Keyword: AOL Communicator.
