David Blaine's reign sitting inside a Perspex box may be coming to an end this weekend, but web users can turn their attention to a new starvation stunt taking place online. Luke Skinner from Stourbridge in the West Midlands has encased a small lego David Blaine inside a small lego box and suspended it from the tree in his garden. Each day he posts an update on the challenge including a photograph. The posting for Day 3 of the David Blaine in a Box Tribute reads: "He may look dead, but trust me he's ok! He did have a close encounter with a squirrel today though...and some pigeons and a cat were roaming around...there were also these hedgehogs with banners." Luke, a freelance designer, told Web User that he started the stunt as a joke but now hopes he can "obtain a small cult following and maybe get in the paper or something". "David Blaine's always been a huge source of entertainment for me, I think he's great, but doing the things he does he's easy to spoof. I thought it [Lego Blaine] would be funny and judging by the response its got I think I was right," Luke added. Lego Blaine started his attempt on 7 October and hopes to stay inside until 19 November. He has a warm coat to reduce the risk of catching a cold due to the wintery weather.
