Web auction for Streisand's frocks

Fans of US actress and singer Barbra Streisand can bid online for some of the star's personal items and clothes.
Barbra Streisand is auctioning hundreds of her belongings in aid of charities such as the Breast Cancer Coalition Fund, the Natural Resources Defence Council and the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
The auction takes place via the showbiz memorabilia auction site JulienEntertainment.com and includes Streisland's Academy Awards outfit, when she accepted an Oscar in 1969 for her performance in Funny Girl.
Bidding for this famous dress currently stands at $1,525.00 (£901) following two bids. The auction started today and has a closing date of 9 November.
Fans can also bid for an antique hairbrush auctioned at $10.50 (£6.20), an antique trinket box at $52 (£30) and her costume top hat at $635 (£375).
In September, one web user bid $20,000 (£11,822) for a dress worn by Friends' actress Jennifer Aniston's at the 55th Emmy TV Awards in Hollywood earlier this year.
