Digital satellite viewers can now get in touch with their old friends by using their TV remote control.

Popular reunion website Friends Reunited has launched its first interactive TV service for all digital satellite viewers in the UK.

Sky Active users can browse through the members list searching for their old school, university, club friends and work colleagues by pressing the interactive button on the Sky remote, or the red button when tuned into a Sky channel.

You can make contact with an old friend by sending emails at a cost of £1.

Steve Pankhurst, founder of Friends Reunited said: “We are very excited about
the launch of Friends Reunited on Sky Active. It opens the door to more members which potentially means even more of our users will be reunited with
their old friends and family."

Friends Reunited has over 9.2 million registered users.
