BT has launched a new mobile phone service for surfers using its internet kiosks, offering ringtones, logos and games for mobiles. Called BTringtones.com, the service is free to access from more than 1,400 BT internet kiosks across the UK. At the kiosks, you can pick, buy and download the items you want - such as polyphonic tones, MMS backgrounds, logos, picture messages and Java games -by touching the screen. You can pay by either inserting cash directly into the machine or electronically using credit card, text or by calling a premium rate phone number. BTringtones.com offers around 4,000 ringtones and more than 2,000 polyphonic tones available from £2 each. The site has ten mobile games, but BT said it plans to offer more in the next month. Andy Green, general manager of BT Multimedia Kiosks, said: "It's updated on a daily basis and all the latest hits are available plus you can get free access from all BT internet kiosks, making BTringtones.com a new way of accessing tones if you haven't got an internet connection."
