Freeserve has upped the ante in the broadband stakes by cutting the cost of its 512kbps broadband package to £15.99 a month for the first three months.
The service, which includes a free broadband modem and connection, will then return to £27.99 a month
According to Freeserve, the deal puts its broadband service at "the same price for three months as some competitors’ narrowband offers".
To sign up to the broadband deal, available from 3 February, visit www.freeserve.com/broadband, stores including PC World, Currys, Dixons and The Link, or phone 0800 781 9000.
