Web users that want to own a part of US history can bid for Bill Clinton’s childhood home, up for sale at online aution site eBay.
Over the past week, bids for the house - where the former US president apparently lived for three years as a child - have soared from $45,000 (£24,835) to $200,000 (£110,373).
According to the seller, the home located in Arkansas "consists, as it did when Bill Clinton lived here, of three bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, dining room, and living room”.
The posting claims that Clinton’s home is now a part of American history and that tourists are frequently stopping in front of the house to take pictures.
“Billy's parents moved the family from this house in 1953, after he had completed the first grade. Although Bill Clinton lived the remainder of his childhood in Hot Springs, he will always love the "Boyhood Home" and the town of his birth,” the seller claims.
The auction, which comes to an end next month, has so far attracted 108 bids.
