Internet retailer Blackstar is to change its name on Friday after some customers were confusing its website address with a US-based agency for photojournalists.
Blackstar.co.uk, which offers videos, DVDs, video games, posters and entertainment accessories, will change its name to SendIt.com.
Some customers were looking for the retailer at web address Blackstar.com, which is the website for a US agency that represent worldwide photojournalists and sells images and photo essays covering worldwide events.
Ian Loughran, managing director at Blackstar.co.uk said: "The principal reasons for the name change are firstly the lack of dot com, as we can't own it and we know that some customers are clicking through to this address but it is also because we are increasingly adding more features such as games and accessories and we want our name to reflect this."
According to Loughran, the new name reflects the company's promise of that "if customers want it, we will send it".
At Blackstar.co.uk you can preorder the Tom Cruise flick The Last Samurai, out on 7 May, on DVD for £14.99 with free delivery. The retail price for the two-disc set is £22.99.
