AOL Broadband suscribers can get a taste of US actress Angelina Jolie’s latest film thriller via the internet.
The ISP is screening the first nine minutes of Taking Lives exclusively for its UK broadband customers ahead of the film’s general release on 23 April.
In Taking Lives Angelina Jolie stars as an FBI profiler hunting a killer who may be taking on his victims' identities. The opening scene sets the story in motion by recounting details of the serial killer’s first crime.
Kate Hall, head of entertainment at AOL, said: “Showing the opening nine minutes of Taking Lives on AOL gives film lovers a real taste of this star-studded thriller before they see it in cinemas.”
“This is another Broadband exclusive for AOL and a great example of how AOL works in partnership with film distributors prior to a film’s release in this territory,” added Ms Hall.
AOL subscribers can access the film preview free of charge at keyword: takinglives. AOL Broadband services includes AOL Gold, offering speeds of up to 512Kbps for £27.99 a month and AOL Platinum, a 1Mbps connection costing £34.99 per month.
Taking Lives also stars top actors including Ethan Hawke, Olivier Martinez and Kiefer Sutherland.
