Mobile users can now personalise their phones with digital camera pictures thanks to a new service launched by film processor Bonusprint.

The “Photo-2Phone” service should give photo snappers a better quality wallpaper than those you get with the phone or low resolution camera phones.

You send digital images to the www.bonusprint.co.uk/p2p website for download to any mobile with a colour screen and a WAP connection. Each image costs £3.90 to download - the website matches the image to the size of the mobile screen and sends it back to the phone.

Bonusprint’s Anthony Ward said: “Cameraphones are becoming increasingly popular with consumers, and the new service allows you to carry your favourite digital images wherever you go.”

“Just like selecting your favourite tune as a ringtone, customers can now personalise their mobile’s screen with a prized photo.”
