Film buffs and gamers can now pay for their online DVD and video game rentals via the BT phone bill.

DVD rental service ScreenSelect.co.uk and online video game rental company GameNinja both now offer BT Click&Buy as a method of payment.

Using the BT Click&Buy service you can buy online content and services from one account, which can be settled by Direct Debit, credit/debit card or via the BT phone bill.

ScreenSelect.co.uk, which has a library of more than 23,000 films, has a monthly fee of £14.99, which lets you watch as many DVDs as you can get through. GameNinja lets you borrow from a selection of over 1,000 PlayStation 2 titles for a flat monthly fee of £15.99.

William Reeve, managing director at ScreenSelect.co.uk, said: "To maximise your growth you have to offer your customers the widest range of payment options. Being able to offer the BT phone bill as an alternative was a real plus."
