The room for rent overlooking Friday's royal wedding between Charles and Camilla has gone for £800 on eBay.
Online casino company GoldenPalace.com stumped up the cash for the Windsor pad that was described as having an "uniterrupted view...overlooking the Guildhall on wedding day."
The room, on the corner of Thames Street in Windsor, can take up to 20 guests and GoldenPalace.com CEO Richard Rowe has hinted that a star studded guest list could grace the room for the event.
"GoldenPalace.com is delighted to be joining Charles and Camilla for their Windsor celebrations, said Rowe. "We have a network of international stars and celebrities that work with us, and they will definitely be first on our VIP list!"
The auction, dreamt up by Windsor Royal Shopping Centre in order to raise funds for the Prince Philip Trust Fund charity, attracted a total of 76 bids.
It's not the first time the online casino has managed to snaffle unusual goods and services on eBay with some big bidding. The company has a history of eccentric purchases including buying a 'Virgin Mary grilled cheese sandwich' and the rights to legally change a woman's name to GoldenPalace.com.
