The BBC has launched a new site that hopes to bring together Africans in the continent and Africans in the UK through online diaries and photo galleries.
Called 'My Africa', at the heart are the voices of diarists who share their personal experiences through their blogs.
Visitors can read about a huge number of African's daily lives, including Louis Donfack, a prison teacher in Cameroon, who chronicles his struggle to rehabilitate young offenders, or Ingrid, a single mum in Namibia.
My Africa was initiated by the BBC as part of ‘Africa Lives on the BBC’ in collaboration with the British Council and other partners.
