An independent price monitoring service says web users could be hundreds of pounds better off a year if they find the right broadband deal. SimplySwitch.com said that over the past 12 months, more and more competitively priced products have come onto the market. Karen Darby, chief executive at SimplySwitch.com, said: "There are considerable savings to be made by switching your broadband provider as prices have tumbled. "Anyone who has had broadband for more than 12 months will find that a higher speed connection is available at a fraction of the cost, with potential savings of over £200 per year." SimplySwitch.com incorporates a calculator which lets customers know how much bandwidth and download capacity they need each month based on their usage. Broadband providers currently listed include NTL, Toucan, Tiscali, TalkTalk, Madasafish, Homecall, Telewest, AOL, Wanadoo and ADSL4Less. Click for a free sample issue of Web User
