Big worm

Antivirus companies are warning UK internet users to not open emails coming from unknown sources as it could be infected by the Sober variants. Sober A.H is continuing to spread and has already infected thousands of computers around the world particularly the United States, Mexico and Germany. According to security experts, Sober A.H is rated as a high threat as millions of emails infected with Sober.AH are on the loose. Because Sober.AH doesn’t exploit any vulnerabilities, but uses mass mailing to infect computers the targets of its attack are computers that don't have antivirus solutions or that is not correctly updated, security experts warned. Luis Corrons, director of PandaLabs, said: "An unprotected commuter is a threat to the entire Internet community. At the moment, the activity of cyber-criminals is reaching alarming levels, and their attacks are increasingly sophisticated.” “It is no longer enough to be careful with the web pages you visit or to act with caution when opening emails; it is necessary to use all the technological means available to maintain an acceptable level of protection against the dangers in the Internet," he added.
