UKTV clips head online

Hundreds of hours of clips from UKTV are now available to watch online.

An agreement with www.blinx.tv will see clips from UKTV Style,
UKTV Style Gardens and UKTV Food hosted on the blinkx site.

Blinkx technology uses speech recognition to index television clips, allowing people to search for the specific clips they are looking for, rather than having to watch an entire programme.

Andrew Watt, head of new media at UKTV, said: “We are excited to extend the reach of our online content through blinkx.tv. UKTV already has a large and growing following, and through blinkx, consumers can now log on, find and watch the clips they want with no time constraints."

UKTV offers a wide range of content including documentaries, comedy and lifestyle programmes.
