Yahoo launches PC-calls via Yahoo Mail

Yahoo is to integrate free PC-to-PC calls into Yahoo Mail.

Now when a Yahoo user receives an email from another person using Yahoo, they will be able to respond by instant message, PC-to-PC call or by email.

A Yahoo spokesman told Web User the free call service will be introduced in the coming weeks.

The change also means Yahoo Mail users will be able to check their Yahoo Messenger voicemail directly from Yahoo Mail.

Last year, Google launched a similar service, called Google Talk
