Almost half of Britain doesn't know what podcasts, blogs and Blackberries are, new research reveals.
According to Ask.com, 44 percent of people in the UK don’t know what podcasting is, while 45 percent don’t have a clue what the all-in-one mobile device called Blackberry does.
The findings also show that 41 percent of Britons are in the dark about blogging and 24 per cent of them are not sure what MP3 players and iPods are all about.
Ask.com’s Rachel Johnson, vice president marketing Europe, said: “The simple fact is that we are not getting the right information, because we don’t seem to be asking for it. Perhaps it’s a case of not wanting to look or sound stupid, so we just end up living in ignorance.”
