Donkey Kong and Mario Bros creator speaks online

Nintendo’s legendary video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto is holding a webchat this week.

Miyamoto created the Super Mario Bros and is considered to be the greatest video game designer in the world. Time magazine once labelled him "The Spielberg of Video Games".

As he is a Japanese speaker, questions need to be sent in advance via a form. His answers with then be translated into English, German, Italian, French & Dutch and shown from 7pm on Friday 17 March.

Miyamoto has worked on more than 80 different Nintendo video game titles and is responsible for the creation of some of Nintendo’s most popular characters and franchises including Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda.

His most recent projects include Nintendogs, PictoChat and Pikmin 2.
