Get Hotmail on your mobile

UK mobile phone users will soon be able to access MSN Messenger and Hotmail via their handsets.

Microsoft and Three Group have teamed up to offer to 3G handsets users access to Microsoft email and instant messaging services.

Three customers will be able to see when their contacts are online and interact with them from their mobile phone. They will also be able to read, send and delete emails from their Hotmail inbox as well as get an 'at a glance' inbox view.

According to Three, this new service will be followed by access to Windows Live Messenger and Windows Live Mail later this year.
