Geldof tops celebrity dads

Irish rock singer and charity campaigner Bob Geldof is the best celebrity dad, new online research reveals.

England football captain David Beckham was rated numbr two in the Best Celebrity Dad poll on online greeting card website Remind4u.

Celebrity British chef Jamie Oliver came third with 17 percent of the votes followed by Jonathan Ross and Johnny Depp.

According to Remind4u, last year 94 per cent of UK fathers took time off work when their baby was born, and almost eight of ten fathers said that they would be happy to stay at home and look after their baby.
