One red paperclip becomes house

A man has ended his online quest to turn one red paperclip into a house. Kyle MacDonald started with one red paperclip which he kept trading for bigger and better items. After 14 trades and five million visitors to his blog he ended up with a house in the small town of Kipling in Saskatchewan, Canada. Along the year-long trading mission he has swapped items including a snow globe and a part in a movie starring actor Corben Bernsten, met rocker Alice Cooper and attracted millions to his site with his writing style and tales of the odd adventure. The town of Kipling finally offered MacDonald the home to draw much needed tourism to the area.
