Mozilla has released an updated version of its web browser Firefox after numerous security bugs were reported.

Four of these security issues were rated critical, including a JavaScript error that could led to memory corruption and others that could possibly "be exploited to run arbitrary code with enough effort", warned Mozilla.

According to Mozilla, Firefox users should receive soon the 1.5.0.7 patches via the browser's automatic update system.

The updates “can also be applied manually by selecting “Check for Update” from the Help menu within at any time,” advised Mozilla.

In July, Mozilla launched a beta test version of Firefox 2.0 web browser, which includes a spell checker and an anti-phishing tool.
