Security company Symantec has launched an online game to make computer users more aware of online threats, including viruses, trojans and worms.
Invisible Burglar lets internet users destroy cyber criminals that try to steal their personal information such as photos, music, bank details and email addresses.
The highest scorer will win a Samsung widescreen TV and the second highest scorer a Samsung laptop.
"Christmas is a busy time for online shopping, but also when many people buy new computers, so it is an important time to remind everyone to take the necessary security precautions," said Caroline Cockerill, head of consumer marketing, Symantec UK.
