You will now be able to watch videos from the YouTube website on your Vodafone mobile handset.
Thanks to an exclusive detail struck by the company and mobile operator Vodafone you will now be able to watch videos from the YouTube website on the move.
It will also be possible to upload videos to YouTube from your mobile phone.
The announcement comes in the same week that MySpace and Vodafone said that the MySpace Mobile application will be pre-installed on new Vodafone mobile handsets, allowing you to update and edit your MySpace profile on the fly.
The two deals will be rolled out in the uK first, and will be offered in other European markets later in the year.
"People want to view and share favourite YouTube videos seamlessly wherever and whenever they want," said Steve Chen of YouTube.
"Partnering with Vodafone will accelerate those efforts to serve our loyal YouTube users as well as allow new mobile audiences to enjoy YouTube," said Chen.
The deal "further expands the range of internet services we're bringing to the mobile, introducing a seamless experience that allows customers to engage with user generated content on the move," said Frank H Rövekamp of Vodafone.
Additionally, the MySpace Mobile application will be pre-installed on selected new Vodafone mobile handsets.
"Teaming up with the world's leading online community means that people can take the MySpace experience anywhere and enjoy it anytime," said Rövekamp.
