Customers of Biscit Internet, which went into administration last week, will become customers of Breathe Network Limited.

Late on Friday, Breathe informed the press that it would be taking on Biscit's 13,500 customers, who would be seamlessly be transferred to Breathe's service and would not have to make any changes to their settings.

There should be no disruption to broadband services, said Breathe, and if customers don't want to be transferred to the new provider, they will be issued with MACs (migration authorisation codes) so they can switch to an ISP of their choice.

Breathe's statement is below.

Hot on the heels of its acquisition of Net Access Limited, Breathe Networks Limited (BNL) is delighted to confirm it will be acquiring the business of Biscit Internet.

Terms and conditions have now been agreed and a formal contract will be concluded later today. BNL will work alongside various partners, including BT and Ofcom, to ensure there is no loss of service and disruption for customers. Biscit Internet’s Founder, Nathan Relevy, is also working closely with Marcus East, BNL’s Chief Executive, and the rest of the BNL team to ensure a smooth migration with no downtime or disruption for customers.

BNL intends to move Biscit’s 13,500 customers by Realm Migration, which means customers will not have to make any changes to their settings.

Customers will be asked to confirm that they are happy to move to a Breathe agreement on the same or similar terms than they currently enjoy.

Any customers wishing to move elsewhere will be provided with a MAC code allowing them to do so.

BNL expects to provide customers with a greater level of reliability and value for money. Customers will be able to change their package after migration if required.

As soon as the mail migration is complete, Biscit customers will be able to enjoy the same benefits as breathe users via the new mail platform due to be launched soon.

Biscit customers can call 0870 740 5836 if they have any queries before they move over.
