Kylie launches social network

Fans of Kylie Minogue can keep up-to-date with the latest news about the pop singer as well as make friends on a new social networking site.

The pint-sized pop star has recently created a profile on Facebook

Aussie songstress Kylie Minogue is planning to become friends with all of her fans.

A social networking site, KylieKonnect, has been launched and is free to join. It promises to keep you "up-to-date with all the very latest on Kylie".

Once you have registered, you can start your own blog, upload pictures and make friends with other users.

Dan Duncombe of Ms Minogue's record label, Parlophone, said: "Kylie Konnect is for new and old fans alike; they can link directly to Kylie’s profile, leave their blog, upload photos and share their experiences with other Kylie fans.

"Kylie’s blog will regularly be updated, offering exclusive music, news, tour information and more, with fans able to download exclusive behind the scenes footage and have a chance to win ‘money can’t buy’ prizes," Duncombe continued.

Kylie recently got herself a Facebook profile and also has a presence on MySpace and Bebo.

Her latest track, 2 Hearts, available to buy as a digital download from today and will be on sale as a CD single from next Monday.

Kylie's new album, X, is due to be released on 26 November.
