New and archived short form BBC videos are now available to watch on MySpaceTV, the two companies have announced.
Snippets from popular shows such as Top Gear and The Mighty Boosh, are being provided by BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, to the social network's new video platform.
MySpace members anywhere in the world can subscribe to the BBC Worldwide channel, and will be able to embed the videos into their own profile pages and share them with friends.
The content on offer ranges from Michael Parkinson's interviews with Robbie Williams and Russell Crowe, as well as David Attenborough's nature documentaries.
Simon Danker, director of Digital Media at BBC Worldwide said: "The breadth of content we bring to this deal means that MySpace users will easily be able to find a favourite clip to put on their profiles and share with their friends, whether that is a Top Gear stunt or something a bit different from The Mighty Boosh."
Travis Katz, managing director of MySpace, hinted that the social networked could strike deals with more media companies in the future.
"This is the first global network deal for MySpaceTV and we believe it’s the future of collaboration between the web and networks around the globe. The BBC is one of the World’s most recognised and trusted television brands with fantastic content," Katz said.
The BBC already has a channel on YouTube, where you can watch clips from popular programmes such as Doctor Who and Spooks.
And the BBC has also announced this week that content from BBC Three will be simultaneously broadcast on the web from next month.
