Two crucial US primaries to be held today in Texas and Ohio could either make or break Hilary Clinton's presidential campaign.

Hilary Clinton in political fight

US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton enters the last chance saloon today in the battle to win the Democratic candidacy which moves to Ohio and Texas primaries.

You can follow the results as they come in and keep up-to-date with news from all camps on the BBC News website.

You can see videos of the candidate delivering key speeches, get at-a-glance information for previous primaries and analysis from US political experts.

Pundits and analysts agree that it’s make or break for Clinton in her campaign to be nominated as the first female presidential candidate.

However, she faces an uphill battle as Senator Barack Obama, her Democratic contender, has gained momentum and crucially won more support in his attempt to secure the candidacy.

Polls conducted in Ohio give Clinton a slight edge over Obama while in Texas both candidates are neck and neck. Over the weekend, both candidates traded insults and berated each others track records.

The race for the Republican candidacy looks much clearer with Senator John McCain in pole position to win his party's approval.

The primaries in Ohio and Texas, the latter being the largest state in the US, coincide with elections in the East coast states of Vermont and Rhode Island.
