Web celebrates April Fool's Day

Many websites are playing pranks this morning - here's Web User's round-up of April Fool's jokes.

Virgle

The web is awash with April Fool's Day jokes this morning ranging from the bizarre to the ridiculous.

Other than Google and Virgin's project to put a human colony on Mars, Gordon Ramsay has vowed to give up swearing, the BBC has discovered some flying penguins, and BMW has developed a car that gives dogs an electric shock if they try to use it as a toilet.

There is also a technology that allows hackers to be uncovered by their own webcams, supposedly developed by Sophos, and The Pirate Bay's claim that it has moved its location to the Sinai desert in Egypt.

You can also find a list of many of today's hoaxes on the Wikipedia site.
