Wii Fit selling out

Brits' addiction to computer games is only matched by their willingness to get fit if sales of the yet-to-be-released Wii Fit are anything to go by. Wii Fit, from Nintendo, is set to hit the shops on 25 April but many stockists of the game and balance board, priced at 69.99, are already sold out ahead of the release date. More than a million copies of the exergame were sold in Japan during its first month on sale. Games for the console include traditional sports like football, as well more more unconventional ways of keeping fit such as balancing and yoga. Play.com said it has been overwhelmed by the phenomenal demand for the interactive computer game. "Wii Fit is going to be huge - let's hope that we can keep up with demand," said Gian Luzo, head of games at Play.com. "People continually look for new and fun ways to stay in shape and its fantastic to see exergames in big demand," he added. http://e3nin.nintendo.com/wii_fit.html www.play.com
