ITN launches YouTube channels

ITN has added music news and news clips channels to YouTube, to add to its existing showbiz news channel.

ITN Music will keep music fans up to date with the latest music, festival and awards news.

ITN News will contain a series of 90-second reports on the latest news stories from the UK and around the world.

YouTube's Patrick Walker said: "ITN's first channel has been extremely successful, reaching millions of users around the world, and we are delighted to see them launching two more channels on the site, bringing even more quality news content to the YouTube community."

ITN Music and ITN News have been introduced by ITN On, the multimedia division of the news agency.

ITN On has previously launched services for several mobile operators, letting customers access news and weather information through their handsets.
