Jessica Alba video sweeps the web

Do you think you could stare down a celebrity? American actor Jessica Alba is inviting contestants to a staring match via a new website.

The competition is a publicity drive for a new social-networking site ibeatyou.com, which was founded by the star’s boyfriend Warren Cash.

Alba, 27, star of Sin City, appears on the site challenging five contestants to a staring match. The video has been viewed millions of times since it was first uploaded on 6 May.

In the video Alba manages to stare down one of her opponents, little Kev Jumba, in one minute and 32 seconds.

The site lets surfers start online competitions with each other. According to the site, "you can compete against anyone in anything, using photos, video and text."

Current competitions active on the website include sexiest body and best beard.
