The Big Brother house opens its doors tonight to reveal 16 new housemates and you can keep up to date with all the events online.

This is the ninth installment of the fly-on-the-wall series and not much has changed except for the new diary room chair, which would look more at home on board the Starship Enterprise.

Although Channel 4 has dropped the live internet feed for BB9, there is still plenty of content online as well as via mobile.

On Channel 4's Catch Up service you can keep up to date with all the action from the previous seven days. For this series Channel 4 is also stepping up its mobile services.

Surfers can get free videos from the house as well all the latest news as it happens from the Big Brother mobile site.

The Big Brother mobile site can be accessed through the main website or alternatively by texting BIG BROTHER to 83188 to be sent a link to the site.

The identity of the 16 house mates will be revealed tonight, but Channel 4 has been feeding little tit-bits about the contestants.

One appeared in a Hugh Grant film, another wears a £13,000 watch, the oldest housemate is 42 and one even confessed to having never watched Big Brother before.
