Web User: Zen Internet wins top award

Zen Internet has been named Best Broadband Provider 2008 by Which? magazine, beating off competition from bigger ISPs such as BT, Virgin and Sky.

Zen was set up in 1995 and specialises in providing broadband to businesses, though it does provide services to homes as well.

"We are delighted to have won this prestigious award," said Richard Tang, managing director of Zen Internet.

"Zen Internet’s mission is to provide the best ISP service in the UK and this award demonstrates our commitment to delivering excellent service, quality and reliability to our customers," he added.

A spokesperson said that Zen aims to make "the world of broadband as hassle-free as possible."

Zen scored top marks for connection speed, customer service, online and telephone support and it was the only ISP on test to get top marks for reliability of connection.
