iTunes 7.7 released


Apple iTunes has released iTunes 7.7 just days ahead of the launch of the 3G iPhone.

Apple has realeased iTunes 7.7 and it is now available for download. The new version will be needed for the 3G iPhone which goes on sale in the UK tomorrow.

With the new version of iTunes comes the ability to sync music and videos with the iPhone 3G. It also features a new remote application for the iPhone and the iPod which will control the iTunes playback from anywhere in your home.

iTunes 7.7 also comes with a new App Store with games and applications for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Categories include games, sports, utilities, weather, lifestyle, music, reference, news, photography, health and fitness, travel, business, entertainment and finance.

Apple boss Steve Jobs has said there will be 500 applications available from launch, with around a quarter of them free.

For those you have to pay for, prices vary from 59p to £5.99.
