The Young Ones comes to iTunes

Episodes of the cult Eighties TV programme The Young Ones are now available to download from iTunes.

The comedy followed the escapades of four students at Scumbag College and starred Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson, Nigel Planer, Christopher Ryan and Alexei Sayle.

Series one of the anarchic show is available from today, with episodes costing £1.89 each, and series two will be available shortly.

Simon Danker, director of Digital Media at BBC Worldwide said: "The Young Ones was a massive cult hit when it aired first time round and its continuing fan base marks it out as a truly classic show."

"Whether you want to watch the Atom Bomb Episode or the final Summer Holiday show, the whole twisted, violently slapstick history of The Young Ones will be available online," Danker continued.
