Mozilla looks to future of web

The Mozilla Foundation is inviting surfers to get involved in a discussion on the future of the internet.

In keeping with Mozilla's open-source philiosophy, Concept Series is open to everyone.

It aims to get as many people as possible sharing their ideas and vision of the future of the web.

Chris Beard, vice president of Mozilla wrote in the Mozilla blog: "You don’t have to be a software engineer to get involved, and you don’t have to program. Everyone is welcome to participate."

While you might not know your RSS from your elbow, Mozilla is keen to hear from anyone with ideas.

"It all begins with an idea. A sentence, paragraph, or even bullet-points kick-start the process. Ideas can be simple and non-technical. It should be easy for anyone and everyone to help shape the future of the web," Beard added.

On its blog, Mozilla showcases some concept ideas including Aurora, a vision of how the web, browsers and video technology could be used to resolve real-time problems.
