O2 has won two gongs in the Top 10 Broadband Awards, winning prizes for Fastest Broadband and Customer Satisfaction.
Gongs were awarded in 10 different categories, with 3 winning the Mobile Broadband prize, BT coming top in the Wireless Broadband section and PlusNet taking the Small ISP award.
AOL was judged to have the best short-contract broadband deal while TalkTalk was thought to offer best value.
The Broadband Bundle prize was won by Virgin Media with Be and Vodafone winning the gongs for Gaming Broadband and Student Broadband respectively.
"The winners of the Top 10 Broadband awards have distinguished themselves in the UK broadband market by offering first-class packages tailored to niche areas of the market," said Jessica McArdle, web editor at Top10-Broadband.co.uk.
Top 10 Broadband conducted 310,000 speed tests and found O2's average connection speed of 6.128Mbps to be the best. O2's customers gave the ISP 3.84 out of 5 for customer satisfaction.
