Watch Olympic Closing Ceremony

You can watch the Olympic closing ceremony on the BBC's Olympic site.

After 16 days and 17 nights of sporting excellence and drama, the Beijing 2008 Olympics comes to an end on Sunday 24 August.

BBC's live online coverage of the ceremony starts at 12pm BST.

In the ceremony the Olympic Flag will be handed over from the Mayor of Beijing to Boris Johnson, Mayor of London.

Around 1.5 billion will watch Great Britain's eight-minute handover performance as the countdown begins for London 2012.
