A mobile phone deal that comes with unlimited music downloads is to be offered by handset maker Nokia through The Carphone Warehouse in the UK.
Though exact dates haven't been confirmed, it is expected that you will be able to buy a Nokia device with the 'Comes With Music' service by October.
The Carphone Warehouse is taking pre-orders for the Nokia 5310 XpressMusic Comes With Music edition from today.
You will get unlimited access to the Nokia Music Store for one year and can keep any music you download even after the year is up.
Tero Ojanperä of Nokia said: "We believe that Comes With Music will transform the way people enjoy music.
"With unlimited music access for a year, you can enjoy your favorite artists or delve into new genres without having to worry about individual track or album purchases," he continued.
Mark Mulligan of Jupiter Research said that the choice of device for the deal was a clear statement of intent on Nokia's part.
"Interestingly, the service will launch on the mass market 5310 XpressMusic device. This is significant as it shows that Nokia is setting its sights firmly on the younger mass market – the most important target group for the record labels," said Mulligan.
Network operator O2 said it was keeping a close eye on the situation.
"We want to make sure we offer our customers a wide choice of options to get the maximum benefit of music through O2 and will be watching Nokia’s ‘Come with Music’ package with interest," said Anthony Douglas of O2.
