The Sopranos comes to iTunes

Hit TV programmes The Sopranos, Sex and the City and The Wire are now available to download on iTunes, thanks to a deal between US channel HBO and Apple.

Each episode costs £1.89. Customers can also buy entire seasons of the shows.

All 94 episodes from the six seasons of Sex and the City are available to download.

Seasons 1, 6a and 6b of The Sopranos and seasons 1 and 5 of The Wire are also available.

You can also download episodes of recent HBO shows Entourage and Rome.

Television shows downloaded from iTunes can be viewed on a Mac or PC, iPod nano with video, iPod classic, iPod touch, fifth-generation iPod, iPhone or on a widescreen TV with Apple TV.
